About Us

As a local PTA at a Title 1 School, our primary focus is giving our families and students equitable educational opportunities. We do this through events like STEAM night, Reading night, Harvest Festival Pumpkin Carving Event and funding local fieldtrips. We also look for opportunities to partner with local businesses to provide our students and teachers with much needed school supplies.

Current PTA Board 24-25:

President - Sarah Keane:  I have been working in education for 15 years, and this is my sixth year teaching fifth grade at Odyssey. My husband Timothy and I enjoy volunteering and building community with our school families through the PTA and our community garden.

Co-VP - Khimani Burton: I have two sons Jaxxson, who attends Odyssey and Jorden attends Mariner, we spend family time outdoors. I enjoy volunteering at my church spending time with the nursery age.

Membership Matters!

When you become a member of the PTA, you give our voice strength as we stand for students' rights and access to equitable education. Your membership dues also help you pay for events, school supplies, and field trips. Anyone can become a member, and a member can be as active as they want to be. You can attend events and general membership meetings or join up to get information and be a part of the community. You can also sign up more than one person from your household, your kids, even aunts, uncles, grandpas, and grandmas can be paid members! Membership costs $10 per person or $18 for two. So join today and help our school be a strong community together.
