FAMILY SAFETY WEBINAR
May 29, 6 p.m., link below

Can you spot a scam before it's too late? Can your children? Each year, many people fall victim to fraudulent calls, emails, social media posts, and more. The number and types of scams have increased over the years and it is important to know how to protect yourself from them as well as your children, especially if they have access to the Internet, social media, etc.

Join Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency representative Alexander Salazar and district leaders to gain tips on how you and your family can protect yourselves from online risks. Interpreters can be requested by commenting under this ParentSquare post by 5 p.m. this Friday, May 24.

Click here to join the webinar on May 29!

CALLING STUDENTS, STAFF and FAMILIES for MENU FEEDBACK

Do you have suggestions about school meals? The Nutrition Services Department is inviting menu feedback from students, staff and families at an in-person meeting June 10, 4-5 p.m. in the District Office board rooms. If you’re interested, please complete the attached ParentSquare form. Staff will review interest to ensure there is as much representation (grade level, school, culture, etc.) as possible in the group and follow up with all who expressed interest.

Can’t make the meeting? You can always message Nutrition Services Manager Heather Frost through ParentSquare or by email.

BOARD MEETINGS STREAMING SOON

YouTube logoBeginning June 11, all regular school board meetings will be streamed and recorded to the Mukilteo School District YouTube channel. Recordings will be kept for one year.

This change means that the last Zoom board meeting will be May 28. After that, public comments must be made in person. Not able to attend the meetings? You can also write to the board at schoolboard@mukilteo.wednet.edu.
